About Me

My interest in Massage Therapy began while I was racing mountain bikes and used massage as a way to recover from training and racing. I enrolled in school at the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in Denver in June 2005 and have been practicing and continuing my education since. I am Nationally Certified and State licensed.

I specialize in Sports, Neuromuscular and Pre and Post Natal massage therapy. I have had the opportunity to work with many professional athletes, including the Australian National Triathlon Team. Not only do I enjoy working with athletes, I thrive on helping people feel better, reduce chances of injury, rehabilitate during and after an injury, and train at their best for whatever endeavor they may be participating in.

I am now a mother of two girls and have found a love for working with women before, during and after pregnancy. I offer massage to women to ease the discomforts of pregnancy and postpartum.

I look forward to helping new clients on a regular basis and have a convenient downtown Boulder location.

I am often asked, “When is the best time to get a massage?” If you are training hard for an event and want to get the most out of your massage it is best to get massage regularly, which would be once a week, every other week, or when your time and money dictate. Getting regular massage helps flush out metabolic waste that accumulates through rigorous exercise as well as addressing any muscle imbalances that occur in the body while training. In short, it keeps the machine (your body) running smoothly. Then coming up to an event I recommend getting a massage 2-3 days before your event with a day of training the day before the event day. Finally, after your race it is optimal to get a massage 1 or 2 days after, again to flush out metabolic waste and smooth out any muscle imbalances that occurred either during your race/event or during your training.

I have worked with many athletes, including the Australian National Triathlon Team. From this I have learned when and the best type of massage for athletes, if you’re a professional or not, everyone deserves to keep healthy with massage.
